Day at the Museum

In addition to the Kubrick exhibit at LACMA, I saw Bodies and Shadows: Caravaggio and His Legacy.

Across the street from LACMA are ten sections of the Berlin Wall, the largest collection outside of Berlin.  The segments are part of The Wall Project of the Wende Museum.  The other side of the segments, Behind the Wall, are murals, which are part of the Wende Museum’s Surveillance Project.

 

    

Museum Row has its share of food trucks parked along Wilshire Blvd.  For lunch I had the Street Kitchen‘s delicious cajun shrimp quesadilla.

 

Auteur! Auteur!

I saw the Stanley Kubrick exhibit at LACMA yesterday.  It’s a must-see for any Kubrick fan.

                  

      

                  

    

  

       

Thank You 2012

2012 was an amazing year.  I had various adventures and experiences and received many blessings.  My top 5 moments are:

1. Visiting Rome

2. An independent film I co-wrote becoming available for purchase and rental on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Redbox, Blockbuster, and Netflix, among others

3. Camping at Grand Canyon

4. Meeting Ed Sheeran

5. Riding a Hot Air Balloon
